We’re looking for a Home Employee to work in the Hay area of the West-Riverina region of NSW. In this position you’ll be responsible for the delivery of high-quality in-home care services to our clients. This position is being offered as a Part time/Casual role.
Your key responsibilities will be:
Assisting clients with a range of daily life activities
Domestic assistance, including cleaning, washing and care of pets
Meal assistance, including shopping, meal preparation and help with eating
Transport and accompaniment, including shopping trips and appointments
Social support & activities, including outings and social activities
Personal care, including grooming, bathing and dressing
Toileting, including incontinence aids, sanitary pads, colostomy and drainage bags
Provide support for health conditions, including skin care, medication reminders and diabetes management
Assistance with mobility including using mechanical lifting aids
The Requirements:
Strong interpersonal skills and an empathy with older people
Certificate III in Aged Care / Disability Support or related field
Prior experience in a similar role
Current driver’s license and car with comprehensive insurance
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Time management skills
Ability to work with minimal to no supervision
