IT Helpdesk Operator

An opportunity exists for a fulltime IT Helpdesk Operator.

Reporting to the IT Infrastructure Manager, the IT Helpdesk Officer will be responsible for providing quality support to Casella employees; diagnosing hardware & software faults; assist in projects, the timely resolution of assigned support calls and working with users to develop solutions to their hardware and software queries.

Essential qualifications include the following:

Knowledge and experience with Microsoft Windows operating systems.

Knowledge and experience with Microsoft Office Applications.

Understanding of network protocols.

General understanding of hardware components.

Strong self-organisation and work management skills.

Understanding of the importance and ability to effectively communicate within the business.

High level problem solving skills

Experience in a helpdesk or support based role, an IT related University Degree and virtualised environment would be an advantage.
